German manufacturer of twin screw pumps, headquartered in Obernkirchen. Bornemann, founded in 1853, patented the twin screw pump with external bearings in 1934. The pumps are self-priming, double-ended positive displacement machines with external timing gears and bearings, built in more than 80 sizes for virtually any non-homogeneous fluid regardless of viscosity, lubricity or abrasiveness, from seawater and bitumen to molasses, acids and hydrocarbons. The range is complemented by multiphase boosting systems for the oil and gas market and hygienic pumps for the food and pharmaceutical industries. ITT acquired Bornemann in November 2012.

Bornemann offers twin screw pumps for liquid energy, industrial and hygienic duties: HC / HCi and VHC for high capacities up to 6,000 m³/h, HP for differential pressures up to 100 bar, SLI and SLH-5G for industrial and hygienic duties with viscosities up to 100,000 and 1,000,000 cSt, SLW with a heating jacket for hot bitumen up to 300 °C, and W/V for temperatures up to 350 °C.
