American manufacturer and rental provider of portable dewatering and bypass pumps, based in Bridgeport, New Jersey, with product development and manufacturing also in Gloucestershire, England. Godwin Pumps of America was founded in 1976; the brand draws on more than 100 years of pump design, manufacture, rental and service experience. The Dri-Prime range of automatic self-priming centrifugal pumps can start dry and run dry without damage and handles solids up to 5 inches, complemented by hydraulic submersible Heidra pumps and wellpoint equipment. Godwin maintains a rental fleet of more than 20,000 portable pumps and 3,200 pieces of related equipment for construction dewatering, mining, oil and gas, drinking water supply and municipal and industrial wastewater bypass. ITT acquired Godwin Pumps in August 2010, and the brand has been part of Xylem since its spin-off from ITT in October 2011.

7+ product families. Godwin portable pumps are built around Dri-Prime automatic self-priming centrifugal technology (priming from dry up to 28 ft without operator assistance). The CD series is the workhorse of the range in 2 to 24 inch discharge sizes for sewer bypass, construction dewatering and municipal duties, with flows up to 16,500 gpm and solids up to 5 inches; the HL series delivers heads up to 640 ft from a single-stage impeller for high-rise dewatering, pressure boosting and long discharge runs; the NC series adds further automatic self-priming sizes; Heidra hydraulic submersible pumps with diesel or electric power packs handle light slurries and municipal sludges.
